今週のはじめから下痢に悩まされていました。
自然治癒を信じて4日が過ぎても良くならず、どうしたものかと思っていました。
そんなとき、久々にシマを食べると、それ以降ぱったりと下痢が止まり、今は快調です。
マラウイの病気はマラウイの食事で治すことを学びました、やまたつです。
今回はマラウイの携帯電話、通信のことについて書きますね。
文明の発展は目覚ましく、途上国マラウイにも携帯電話はかなり普及しています。
農民もボロボロながら携帯電話を持っています。
マラウイには大きく2つの携帯電話会社があります。
AirtelとTnmです。
僕たちJOCVは事務所から両方のSIMカードと携帯電話を貸与されます。
貸与なので任期終了後はお返しします。
なので、壊したり無くしたりしたら弁償ですね。
両方のSIMを貸与される理由は"場所によって電波状況が違うから"です。
毎週月曜日に安否確認のため、自分の担当ボランティア調整員にワン切りする義務があります。
さすが安全管理には抜かりがありませんJICA。
ワン切りを忘れると、調整員から連絡がくるので若干気まずいです。
さてこれが今僕が使っている携帯電話です↓
こいつは中国製のなんとも怪しい携帯電話なのですが、なんとSIMカードが3つも入ります、無駄に。
なので、事務所から貸与された2つともうひとつプライベートSIMを入れてます。
これで携帯電話1台で3台持っていることになるのでかなり楽です。
しかもネットワークに接続可能なので、TwitterやFacebookもできます。
日本語は文字化けして読めないし、英語しかタイプできませんが。
実はここだけの話、Twitterでリアルタイムに出来事をつぶやいています。

メールより電話、電話より直接の会話で心まで伝わる。
I had a trouble with diarrhea since the fist of this week.
I believed my natural-healing, but my condition was not getting better and 4 days past.
At the time, I ate Nsima for a long time. After that, diarrhea has stopped and now I'm really fine.
I found that we could heal the disease in Malawi by food from Malawi. I am YAMATATSU.
The topic is about the phone in Malawi this time.
Here in Malawi, most of the people has a phone because developing of civilization.
People in the village also has it.
There are 2 types of the phone company in Malawi.
These are Airtel and Tnm.
All of JOCV like me, we borrow both SIM card from our office.
We have to return this back to the office when we go back to Japan because it's just borrow.
If we break it, we must get a new one and return it back.
The reason why we borrow these, it's different a phone wave each aria in Malawi.
Every Monday, we have a duty which to do "one call" to an own volunteer coordinator to let his know about alive or not.
There is no room for compromise on the safety. This is JICA.
If we forgot to do "one call", we get a phone from them
This is my phone(picture).
This is made in China which can insert 3 SIM card. It's a waste I think.
So I do that. 2 of SIM card are from office 1 of SIM card is private.
It's very convenient because I don't have to have 2 phones.
Besides, it can connect the Internet so I can enjoy using Twitter and Facebook.
But I can type only English and never see Japanese on the screen.
Just between us, I use Twitter on the real time.
